My friend scammed some married guy online can she get in trouble?

My friend scammed some lonley married guy online who sent her like $500 paypal to drive to texas to see him, of course she didnt go and he said he reported it to “police fraud unit” is there such thing? what can happen to my friend? he has her paypal id and first name thats it and he is pissed of course but do you think harm can really be done to her, and if so what should she do? she spent the money already!

    yes she can get into trouble and should.. she needs to pay him back.. yes they can find her. not that hard.. she did wrong and should either make it right or pay the price for it..

    YES THAT IS, I HOPE SHE DIDN’T GIVE THIS PERSON TO MUCH INFO ABOUT HERSELF,COMING CLEAN TO AUTHORITYS WOULD BE A SMART IDEA, I THINK IT WOULD ONLY BE A FINE, OR JUST MAYBE PAYING THIS PERSON BACK AND APOLOZING, NEVER DOING IT AGAIN BUT SOMETHING WORSE COULD HAPPEN!

    The outcome will depend on his tenacity and resources. If he has the funds, he can hire a private eye to find her and he can prove he sent her money but received no services. She can be prosecuted for fraud. He has all the proof needed since they communicated online. It may be a federal offense. If so, there will be hell to pay. They’ll go after her with the dogs because a person like that is dangerous.

    I agree with one guy here!! Why would some married guy report his own unfaithfulness? Surely he doesnt want his wife to know!! His a stupid fool and in my opinion he deserved that lesson big time!
