i receive a cashier check i think it’s fake. i did some resource online and i notice alot of what they was saying online fit what the person is saying to me. i want to know where do i go to see if this is a scam or not?

    then click Submit Internet Crime and fill out the info and they will contact you soon.

    well when that happens, contact your police or the fraud department in your state. mostly they operate outside the US, and if they have the contact number, you should just threaten them and say u will report them. just dont cash in the check.

    When i received a message in my e-mail similar to yours i contacted my internet provider. You can also delete it yourself. You can also not open e-mail when you do not recognize the person or company it is coming from. It is most likely a scam. Delete it and do not give information that it ask you for.
